Roh has worked with athletes and people with musculoskeletal conditions or balance impairments for over 8 years. Roh has always believed that in order to provide an accurate diagnosis and treatment of the whole person, it is necessary to have clear assessment skills of the spine and an understanding of the patient's beliefs surrounding their condition. This unique approach has allowed Roh to develop a set of hands-on skills that yield faster results and improve long-term performance, avoiding recurring problems.
Roh has worked with specialists in Orthopedics, Sports, Neurology, and Geriatrics, and as a result, has developed a wide range of rehabilitation protocols. These protocols cover a variety of conditions such as postural control, disc prolapse, ankle instability, shoulder impingement, and hamstring strains. Each protocol is based on the latest research papers, ensuring a progressive and effective rehabilitation process.
In addition to being a skilled physiotherapist, Roh's personal experience as an athlete has provided a unique perspective. Roh has trained and competed at an elite level in martial arts on an international scale, and has also participated in rugby, touch rugby, hockey, badminton, half marathons,. Sergey realised the more he coached the more he was correcting old mistakes rather than teaching them new skills.
"Last year, Ian Wee invited me to try his world class equipment at The Brain and Cognition clinic where after a few sessions I realised that this training method, which he and his team were developing for last 25 years, holds an enormous potential for ballet students, boosting development on cognitive level and elevating their technique, reaction and focus performance into next level in much shorter period of time than learning it only conventional (old school) way."
