We used different modalities such as our Reflexion and Blaze Pod platform in concert with traditional sports medicine tools and equipment to assist with clinical applications associated with Brain and Cognitive Functioning. Common requests for enhancing performance by enhancing focus, decision-making ability, reaction time, and agility feature highly in what our participants request for.
Examples of programs that we use within our Reflexion platform include but not limited to:
- Minefield: It helps in improving a person’s agility, quick thinking processes and decision-making skills. By honing their ability to make split-second judgments and adjust their movements accordingly, individuals can become more adept at responding to unexpected situations whether driving on the road, cycling, at their favourite sport or simply keeping up with the younger generation.
- Pursue: This drill helps improve the person’s acceleration, speed, and hand-eye coordination. It enhances their ability to quickly change direction and react to unpredictable movements, which is vital in all fundamental human Activities of Daily Living (ADL) where it is at work or at play·
- Reaction: This reaction drill aims to enhance a person’s reflexes and reaction time. By repeatedly practicing this program, people of all ages can improve their ability to react swiftly to various cues, such as avoiding hazards, obstacles, navigation and direction·
- Go/No Go: This drill is designed to improve a person’s decision-making skills and judgment under pressure. By incorporating this drill into their training, people in critical rapid decision making occupations can sharpen their ability to make quick and accurate decisions, which is crucial for business and sales development.
- Waterfall: This drill helps improve concentration, anticipation, and coordination between individuals and therefore excellent for team development and bonding.
Here at the Brain & Cognition Clinic our practitioners provide feedback and in depth analysis of where the trends are developing and emerging and each person has a record of where they are at and where they can develop further potential and enhance / preserve performance.
